Getting ready for a wax is simple — a few easy steps will make the experience smoother (literally). • Have a shower – Clean skin is sexy skin. Freshen up before your appointment — it’s basic courtesy when you’re about to strip off and get waxed. • Wear loose, comfy clothes – Your skin might feel a little tender afterwards. Loose-fitting clothes help prevent irritation and let you glide home in comfort. • Don’t moisturise – Skip the lotion. Wax doesn’t grip well on slippery skin. • Don’t trim or shave – Put down the clippers! You’ll need at least 5–10mm of hair for the wax to grab properly. Ideally, let it grow for about two weeks before your appointment.

You’ll be in good hands — relaxed, respected, and probably having a laugh. Here’s what goes down:

• Applying the wax – I’ll spread warm wax on small areas at a time, following the direction of your hair growth. The skin is kept taut so every hair is caught, even the sneaky ones hiding in the nooks.

• Removing the wax – Once it hardens, I’ll pull the wax away quickly in the opposite direction. It’s a short sting followed by smooth satisfaction.

• Soothe and repeat – After each strip, I’ll gently hold and rub the area to calm the skin before moving on. It’s all about keeping you as comfortable as possible while getting you perfectly smooth.

Proper aftercare is essential to keep your skin happy and avoid ingrown hairs. Here’s a simple guide: • Up to 3 hours after: No shower, gym, or sweaty activities. Let your pores relax. • 3–24 hours after: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, tight clothes, and chlorinated pools. Keep the waxed area clean and breathable. • 1–2 days after: Apply a light tea tree moisturizing antiseptic cream after your shower. • 3–4 days after: Gently exfoliate with a tea tree scrub while showering, then reapply the moisturizing antiseptic cream. • 5 days onward: Continue exfoliating and moisturizing daily to stay smooth, avoid bumps, and enjoy that fresh, touchable skin.
